The Hunger Project (THP) is a global, strategic
organization committed to the sustainable end of world hunger. The
Hunger Project-Bangladesh was founded in 1991 to promote a volunteers
based community led development. THP-Bangladesh is currently the
largest volunteer-based organization in the country, with over
160,000 volunteers working in 185 unions toward self-reliance.
In Africa, Asia and Latin America, The Hunger Project
empowers millions of women and men to end their own hunger. The
Hunger Project has pioneered low-cost, bottom-up, gender-focused
